Go Hogs!!

This is my favorite time of year!!! I LOVE Fall and all of the fun things that go along with it (cooler weather, football, and chili dogs!!). I get giddy from now until after Christmas :). We have season passes to the Hog games again this year. We used this as a trial game for Lydia and she did GREAT! We set our canopy up and tailgated for a little bit, then went and saw friends! I was planning on buying her a little cheerleader outfit but as I was shopping on FRIDAY (have I mentioned that I'm a procrastinater) I realized that they don't have them in her size. I didn't have time to get anything else so we found a black shirt, white shorts, and made it work! Thanks for the bow, Aunt Carrie. You saved the outfit :).
"I'm going to my FIRST Razorback game!!! I'm SO excited. Go Hogs!!" She loved my bracelet. She would put it in her yellow bucket and take it out (over and over again!)
Harrison enjoying his prize from the Cracker Jacks.
Hangin' with Mom. Please excuse my hair! It was so muggy and I'm in desperate need of a haircut :).
He was really into the game at this point and didn't want to stop and look at me. Can you tell??
"Are you kidding me? The Leathernecks scored again?!" How sweet is this?Zane REALLY gets into football. I would be willing to bet that by the end of the year he'll know most of the stats for most of the players on our team (and a lot of other teams as well!).My Boys!

Little Miss Thang!!

Lydia has changed so much in the last week! She has started shaking her head NO!! I don't know if she knows what it means but she seems to do it at all of the appropriate times. Hmm... sounds like a little girl to me :) . She's started eating more table foods and shakes her head "no" when I try to feed her baby food. She'll eat it but not as well as she did. She also has an uncontrollable reaction when you sing Patty Cake. She automatically stops what she's doing and claps her hands (sometimes with a serious look on her face but she's usually grinning from ear to ear). She's very precise when she claps! Sometimes she rubs her hands together when you get to "roll it up, roll it up". Very cute! She seems to be developing a bit of a "big girl" personality (we're thinking positive). One of her new nicknames when she's being stubborn is "little miss thang".We have a gate that blocks her from the back stairs, but now she's found the front stairs. On to the next step of baby proofing!
Harrison helped me make pizza and calzones for dinner a few nights ago. He couldn't find his chef's hat so he settled for one of his Hog hats. He did a great job!

Almost 10 Months

I took Lyddie to the doctor today for her (belated) 9 month check-up. She weighs 17 pounds 9 ounces and is (almost) 26 3/4 inches tall. She's is in the 25th percentile for both!! Such a change from the boys!! She's got 4 teeth, waves, plays peek-a-boo and patty cake, and just smiles all the time. Her favorite song is You Are My Sunshine. My dad has sang that to her since she was born. If she's upset you can start singing it and she ALWAYS calms down. It's sweet. She's SO much fun right now!!!
Zane was sharing his yogurt. She was not happy when it was gone.
The boys were keeping an eye on her while I was in the other room. This was how they "watched" her. She loved it.
Enjoying some T.V. time with Daddy. She is SUCH a Daddy's girl. When she goes to him she will NOT come back to me without a little bit of a struggle. He gloats a little :) !!
She LOVES the pantry. She tips the coke bottles over and rolls them around.
This is a picture of her in a CUTE outfit that my sister got for her. I love the little bell bottoms!! Love that Red Bull!! When Zane saw this he burst out laughing. She likes to play with all of the cans but eventually gets mad when she realizes that nothing is coming out.

Black Crowes

On Thursday, we went to see the Black Crowes with John and Amy. We had a GREAT time even though they didn't play anything that we knew!! It was fun to go to dinner and just hang out!!! Thanks for the pictures, Amy! Jared's being goofy in the back!!

Branson

Last Thursday, we took the kids to Branson. We planned to go to Silver Dollar City but the line of traffic was awful!! We would've sat in the car for over an hour just to get there. We left it up to the boys and they decided not to go. We took them to play mini golf, ride go-carts, and play arcade games. Oh, and we went to FOUR stores...everytime they fought we added a store to the list. We stayed at Chateau on the Lake (one of my FAVORITE hotels). We stayed around the hotel, played games, and the boys went swimming. Friday night, they played a movie on a big screen by the pool. We ordered dinner from the restaurant and ate while we watched the movie. It was a very relaxing weekend. One of our little traditions is getting candy from the vending machines. It's one of the boys' favorite things about staying in a hotel. Here they are with their goods!!

Lydia and I were almost asleep in this picture. She actually did fall asleep and we stayed there while the boys went up to take showers. My phone was almost dead but I was trying to hang in there for another week and a half until my contract expired. Lyddie dropped it and it busted in half. She had so much fun pushing it around the carpet and climbing the stairs with it. If you've tried to call, now you know why I haven't picked up. I'll get a new phone on the 20th!!

Shopping Trip

On Tuesday, Lydia and I went shopping with Granny and Aunt Shelley (and Carter), while the boys went swimming at Mema and Papa's house. Lydia got some new books (this one is a touch and feel and she LOVES it!), some leggings (for crawling and they'll be cute for winter), a DIVA sign for her closet door, and.... a little ballerina outfit!! It's just adorable. Can you believe that I didn't even like pink a year ago?! Now I can't pass it up! I know what she may be for Halloween...
We've got to work on calling those Hogs!
Her loot!I like these leggings. They're really stretchy.
I know the picture is blurry but this is my favorite face. She does it a lot right now. She'll just look over at you and make it. It's so funny!

I Wanna Be a Rockstar!

Lydia seems to be taking after her Daddy when it comes to music. She is LOVING it. Jared was playing the guitar one night and the piano the next. Each time she had to stop what she was doing and go check it out.

Jared decided that she's more of a rocker. Check out that face!
She had to do it just one more time before bed. I was in the other room when Harrison runs in telling me to hurry and see what Lydia was doing (he's a good little babysitter-I can fold clothes or something and he'll let me know if something's not right). She had climbed up on the hearth and was playing with the rocks in the fireplace. I still don't know how she got up there.
Playing some ball with H.I walked into Zane's room and found this. What the big deal?? They're NOT fighting!! That's a pretty big deal right now! I feel bad that I don't have as many pictures of the boys. They just don't care for the camera as much as Lyddie!!

Fixed!

Thanks Amanda for fixing my blog!!

Just a Little More Help

I decided to just use a background that matched the red. Kara, I went in and deleted the entire format from before and then put a new one in the way TCBOTB tells you to, but I kept getting the red background. I was afraid to mess with it too much for the fear of losing past posts. If you know of any any fix would you send me an e-mail? Now, since my background is not from Pyzam, I'm wanting to get the orange strip off the top. Any suggestions??

I just changed my background but I can't figure out how to change the red!! I tried going to fonts and colors but it won't work and it's too late to mess with it. Any advice??
