We're SLEEPING!!

Lydia has had two good nights in a row! She's a bit of a night owl but I think we can work with that later. Two nights ago she slept from 11-7:30 and last night was 11-6:30 (she stirred around once in the middle but the pacifier put her right back to sleep!). Now if we can just move her out of her swing... =)
I have some great pictures of the kids but my computer is being goofy. I'll post them soon!

(FINALLY) More Pictures

Here are some more pictures of Lydia. The first one was when she was 5 days old. The other two are from yesterday. My sister got her the purple dress. It looked SO small hanging in her closet but I have to roll the sleeves up!

SHE'S HERE!!

Lydia Grace was born at 10:59 a.m. She weighs 7 pounds and 13 ounces and is 20 inches long. Everything went GREAT! I was only in labor for about 3 hours and had a great epidural (thank you Jared!). I'll add more pictures later.

We're here

It's 8:25, and we're in room 29 at Willow Creek Hospital.
4cm 90% effaced, water broken, epidural in, contracting every 2 minutes.

Halloween (early)

We took the boys trick-or-treating at grandparent's houses on Tuesday night. Harrison had a Halloween party at school that day and there was a little girl dressed as Super Woman. Where is your camera when you need it!!
Zane as a blonde Darth Vader (the wig was ONLY for this picture!).
The boys with my nephew, Jacob. He wants to be a doctor like Uncle Jared!!
My niece, Courtney. How cute is she?!
Jared drove around with another woman in the car with him. He got a LOT of laughs.

Last Game

On Saturday we took the boys the Hog game. It was my last game for the season. The boys had a great time playing football.

Zane's Birthday

Zane turned 10 on Monday!! We had his birthday party a couple of days early (on Friday night). Jared and Zane painted a football field in the backyard. They played some serious football, pumpkin volleyball (which works better when ONE pumpkin is in play instead of THREE), and rode down close to the river and had a bon fire. We had a great time.

More game pictures

Hog Games

We got season tickets this year for the Razorback games. We have had so much fun taking the boys. I'm combining pictures from different games. Getting ready to leave in the jeep.
Max LOVES jeep rides! We had to drag him out.
The BEST part of the game... SNACKS!!
Harrison didn't flinch when Jared carried him upstairs and put him to bed.

36 Weeks!!

This is me at 36 weeks. My doctor said that as long as I seemed ready, he would induce me on November 2nd. That means Lydia will share her aunt's (my sister Shelley) and PaPa's (Jared's dad) birthday. We called them both to make sure they didn't mind and they were excited. If she comes a little earlier she could share Zane's birthday (October 29th) but I REALLY don't want that to happen!!

Laundry Chute Mishap

Last Friday, Aaron and Carrie came over. Harrison and Jacob were playing upstairs when we heard Harrison crying. Jacob came to the stairs to get Jared. When he walked into the playroom he could see Harrison's elbows and some blonde hair sticking OUT of the laundry chute. Jared said that he was sweating and shaking, proabaly having used all of his energy to hold himself up. They had decided to empty my ENTIRE linen closet into the chute-- along with toys from the playroom. After throwing blankets, basketballs, LIGHTBULBS-thankfully still in the packages, and pool sticks down they tossed in some pillows. They got stuck so Harrison decided to get in and push them down with his legs. Thankfully he had on his Power Ranger suit so it padded his arms and body a little. It was funny after the initial scare but I think that he learned his lesson. When we were telling Zane about it Harrison said-in a scared serious voice, "Zane, it was NOT awesome."

This is everything that they pulled out of the chute.

The Culprits.

Bellies and Birthdays

My sister, Shelley, was in town a couple of weeks ago so we celebrated my mom's birthday while she was here. We are 9 weeks apart in our pregnancies. We had to get a picture because the next time I see her Lydia will already be here. We just found out that she is having a boy. When the kids heard that she was kicking they all ran over to feel.

"I'm Ready for Church!"

Yesterday I was separating out the clothes that Harrison had outgrown from last year. I went downstairs and a little while later he came down and said that he was dressed for church. He does a really good job of dressing himself, but I usually PICK out the clothes for him. He'd put on a pair of shorts (notice they're unzipped), one of his old shirts (it's on backwards), socks, and his shoes that he'd worn that morning to church (with PANTS). He went out to show Jared and couldn't resist the sprinklers that were on in the front yard. It was a great excuse to get some new clothes on! Minus those shoes with the shorts he really didn't look bad.

Kansas City

We went to Kansas City this past weekend to watch the Royals play. My parents were there with my nephew Wyatt so we ran around with them. The game was a lot of fun. We had a rain delay in the 8th inning. My parents had seats under the cover so we were able to get there by them right before the rain came. The ground crew covered the field with the tarp (very cool--I'd never seen them do that before). The rain only lasted 5 or 10 minutes so they came and uncovered it. Before the players could get back onto to the field it started pouring rain again. They covered it again and after about a 10 minute delay the rain stopped. They were worn out!! We went to the zoo on Saturday. It was fun but HOT! We got to see the zoo keeper give the monkeys gatorade out of a cup for a snack. That was pretty cute. Even though it was a short trip, it was good to get away!

The boys on the way to the game.
The ground crew uncovering the field for the second time.Harrison got to get paw to paw with a lion!

4D Pictures

I went to the University of Fort Smith to get a 4D ultrasound a couple of weeks ago. I was almost 22 weeks at the time. I would have preffered to go later so that the pictures would be a little better but they were getting ready to break for the summer (and it was FREE!). We got some pretty good ones. They were really surprised at how good her face looked to be so young. She'll probably be a CHUNK!!

STILL Gulf Shores

Jared and Zane went deep sea fishing. They really had a great time and caught a lot of fish. We met two families on the beach that chartered a boat so Jared and Zane went in with them. The families invited us to dinner with them that night (grilled fish at their condo). It was a lot of fun to get to know them. I'm usually getting tired of the sand at the end of a trip but I think I could go again NOW! Maybe if we could fly =)!

This was the long day of driving. He was tuckered out!!Of course we couldn't go to Little Rock with out going to Krispy Kreme. We have one here and I haven't been ONCE!!
