The Cat in the Hat

Today at preschool, Harrison's class learned about Dr. Seuss. He brought home this really cool hat and cute little whiskers!

5 A.M. Post

This is my 5 a.m. post. Hopefully the only one I ever do! I have to stay up all night because I have some tests in the morning (I guess this morning!). I am having an MRI, MRA, and a sleep deprived EEG (the reason I am not sleeping). I had some numbness in one of arms and some vision problems a few weeks ago so I am having tests just to make sure everything is O.K. Jared's mom and dad had the boys so we went over to Aaron and Carrie's to hang out. I didn't leave their house until after 2 a.m. (wanna talk about great friends!!). Jared and Aaron came back to our house to sit in the hot tub and I stayed and talked to Carrie. She is almost 20 weeks pregnant so she let me shop thru all of her clothes that she can't wear. I came home with 3 bags!! Then I stopped at Wal-Mart and killed some time. You have to love those 24 hour stores!! We bought a new car today. We got a 2007 Silver Tahoe (my dream car!!). This picture is taken when it was getting dark so it's not a great one. At least I had something fun to drive around at all hours of the night!!

Branson

We went to Branson this past weekend. We had such a great time. We went to the Titanic museum and to The Landing. Harrison played on the playset outside of Joe's Crab Shack. The all around favorite thing that we did was mini golf. They have a great little indoor course. I was really surprised by how good the boys did.

Hot Tub

We bought a hot tub this past weekend to put on our porch. It was a great idea minus the fact that we didn't have a great way to UNLOAD it!! It was VERY heavy but we finally got it! The 20 degree weather made it that much more fun. Jared made a ramp to get it off of the truck. It was the hardest thing I think we've ever moved but it was worth it!

Ommm....

Harrison and Zane were playing the other night when Zane said, "Harrison, let's meditate!" He said that he saw it on a cartoon!!!

Bowling

Last night we met Jared after work at the bowling alley. We've been twice now and it is SO much fun. I am a terrible bowler (I can admit it). So bad that Harrison walked up to me, looked straight up at me, and in a very sweet voice said, "Momma, you're not a very good bowler". Something clicked part way thru and I had a couple of strikes and a spare. This time I came in third instead of last (yes, Harrison beat me last time at BOTH games. He has bumpers though!!). Zane uses bumpers but he rarely needs them.

Harrison's ball takes SO long to get to the end that he has time to run back to Zane and sit and watch with him!!

Hot Springs

Last weekend we went to Hot Springs with Aaron and Carrie. It was so nice to get away and do NOTHING!! We just ate and talked and ate and talked.... it was a nice and much needed break!!
