5 Months Old

Lydia will be 5 months old tomorrow! I took her for her doctor's appointment today. She weighs 13 pounds 11 ounces and is 24 inches long. She's only in the 25th percentile for height and 50th percentile for weight. The boys were always in the 90's for both!! She is rolling from her stomach to back and from her back to stomach (which is her favorite!). If I lay her on a blanket on the floor she rolls off of it. Last night, she got against the closet door and then got mad because she couldn't roll again! She's been so much fun. I can't believe how much the boys love her and how they don't seem to be jealous of her. I was a little worried at first, but they've been great!She's not sitting up yet! Sometimes she can balance for a minute and I happened to get a picture.

My Three Monkeys!

I took the kids to get their pictures made a couple of weeks ago. Having them by myself usually isn't an issue (come on, Zane's 10 and Harrison's a few months from being 5!) but ALL three were in foul moods! Lydia's the happiest baby you could meet, but of course she needed a bottle and a nap as soon as we got there. Zane and Harrison fought the whole time. We actually called Jared during a break so that he could talk to them. I was very happy that we came out with some good pictures. There were 86 taken so I'll save you the boredom and only post a few. These were Lydia's FIRST pictures taken since the hospital. Bless her heart, she's a true third child!!

Meeting Carter

My sister, brother-in-law, niece, and new nephew came home for the first time since Carter was born (in January). I hadn't seen them since August!!! He is such a doll. AND, they are moving back here from California in June! We are very excited that they will all get to grow up together.

This is my brother, Matt and his fiance and future son (we already consider them ours!!) Lynn and Collin. There will definetly be more pictures of them soon. They are getting married on April 26th!

Easter

We went to my parent's house after church for dinner and an egg hunt. We had a great time. Most of my nieces and nephews were there (we were missing my niece, Lexie). We had a little kid hunt in the backyard and a big kid hunt in the front yard. I don't know if the guys had more fun hiding them or if the kids had more fun finding them!

Since Lydia can't have candy, Granny got her a monkey (which she obviously loved!)

Lyddie Loves Wal-Mart!!

Well, not really. She usually sleeps through it. Harrison shared his stickers with her and as you can tell by that smile, she was PRETTY happy about it!! This is her mood about 90% of the time. We have been so blessed to have such a sweet and fun little girl. Her brothers aren't too bad either ;)!!

Gum Brushing

We got Lydia her first toothbrush and toothpaste. It's a really soft brush and special gel for ages 4 months and up. I can't believe she's already that old!!
